Repair Services

DesignCore Systems provides component-level electronic and mechanical repair services for industrial, commercial, and specialised equipment. Our repair workflow begins with a formal fault diagnosis report before any work proceeds, so you understand the fault cause and repair scope before committing.

We perform board-level repair including component replacement, re-balling of BGA devices, trace repair, and connector replacement. Mechanical repair covers refurbishment of enclosures, actuators, and electromechanical assemblies. Where required, we source replacement components or equivalent substitutes to restore equipment to operational specification.

Following repair, equipment is functionally tested and a repair report is issued documenting the fault found, parts replaced, and test results. We maintain records for recurring fault patterns, which is useful for clients managing fleets of equipment with common failure modes.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of equipment do you repair?
We repair a broad range of electronic and electromechanical equipment including industrial control boards, motor drives, power supplies, measurement instruments, custom PCB assemblies, and specialised test equipment. If you are unsure whether your equipment falls within our capabilities, submit an enquiry with a description and we will advise before you ship anything to us.
What is your typical repair turnaround time?
Turnaround depends on fault complexity and component availability. Simple repairs (identifiable fault, in-stock components) can often be completed within 5–10 business days. Complex faults or those requiring sourced components may take 2–4 weeks. We provide a diagnosis report within 3–5 business days of receiving the equipment, at which point we confirm the repair timeframe.
Is there a warranty on repairs?
Repaired equipment carries a 90-day warranty covering the specific fault repaired. The warranty covers return of the same fault mode within the warranty period. It does not cover new faults arising from unrelated causes, operator damage, or continued use in conditions outside the equipment's rated specification. Warranty terms are documented on the repair report issued with each job.
